College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh has arranged the placements programmes for the final year B.Tech (Agril. Engg.) students under the guidance of Dr. P. M. Chauhan, Principal and Dean, CAET, JAU, Junagadgh and Dr. H.D. Rank, Professor & Head, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering Department. In this programme, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mumbai; VST Tractor-Bangalore; New Holland Ltd. (CNH INDUSTRIES (I) Pvt. Ltd.); Jain Irrigation System- Jalgaon; Shaktiman Agro – Rajkot; Agro Star Pvt. Ltd. - Gandhinagar and Lancer Laser Tech. Ltd.-Mehsana have participated in these placement drives. In addition to this, National Innovation Foundation, Gandhinagar also took part in the placement process. 100% students got placement in the reputed companies and NGO. Under this placement programs, final year college students were offered jobs by various companies. Through this placement the student could get a maximum of Rs. 4.75 lakh per annum package with average package of Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum. For this achievement, Vice-Chancellor of Junagadh Agricultural University Dr. V.P. Chovatia has praised the work of training and placement cell.
