Every year Anti Ragging Week is celebrated from 12-18 August as mandated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with slogan, “Stand tall don't let ragging make you fall!! Join hands spend time, don't rag it's a crime. Don't be a fool, ragging is not cool”. The Anti ragging week - 2025 was celebrating with thematically “YOUTH AGAINST RAGGING or TOGETHER AGAINST RAGGING”. As part of this celebration, NSS Unit, Polytechnic in Horticulture, JAU, Junagadh conducted various activities during this week to create awareness among the students about the ill effects of ragging and to ensure that the college remains a safe and secure place for all. The theme of the events was “Anti-Ragging”. On 12^th August 2025, an orientation programme was conducted during which Dr. H. L. Kacha, Principal, Polytechnic in Horticulture, JAU, Junagadh delivered an enlightening speech on the importance of anti-ragging. On the same day, a Poster making competition was held, with 10 students participating enthusiastically. Logo designing completion was organized on 13^th August 2025, and a total of 5 students took part. This was followed by a Drama competition on 14^th August 2025, which saw an active participation of 22 students. The week concluded on 18^th August 2025 with, an essay writing competition in which a total of 32 students showcased their talent and creativity. Winners of all the competitions were recognized and awarded for their creative and impactful performance by the Jury members of the College.
