A special Veterinary Clinical Camp was organized by Bhanvad Mahajan Panjarapol Gaushala, Bhanvad in collaboration with College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University and Animal Husbandry Department, Jamnagar district on 6th June, 2015 at Bhanvad, which was sponsored by Gangani Parivar Manchester (U.K.). In this camp Dr. P. H. Tank, Principle & Dean, College of Veterinary Science & A. H., JAU, Junagadh, Deputy Director of A. H. Department, Jamanagar District, Mr. Dhansukhbhai Mehta, Trustee of Bhanvad Mahajan Panjarapol Gaushala, Bhanvad and donor of camp were present on the occasion and graced the function. Dr. K. H. Parmar, Dr. J. V. Vadaliya, Dr. Amit Prasad, Dr. Amit Bhadaniya along with postgraduate students from clinical departments were actively involved in the clinical camp. Large number of animals from Bhanvad and surrounding villages were brought for the treatment in the camp. During the camp, six hundred forty one (641) animals were treated for different medical, surgical and gynaecological ailments. In the camp different clinical cases were treated such as five hundred eighty nine (589) Medicines, twenty six (26) Surgery, twenty six (26) Gynaecology. Additionally, one lac one thousand twenty five (1, 01, 025) animals were dewormed with anthelmetic. A total four hundred twenty one (421) livestock owners were direct beneficiaries of the camp. Different species of animals of Bhanvad and surrounding villages got specialized treatment from the expert staff members of the College.
