A special Veterinary Clinical Camp was organized in connection with the celebration of “Krushi Vikas Varsh 2014-15”, by College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh in collaboration with Belgrave Neighbour Hood Center, Leicester, UK on 2nd January, 2015 at College of Veterinary Science & A.H., Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. Dr. A. M. Parakhia, Director of Extension Education, Dr. K. B. Jadeja Registrar, Dr. A.V. Barad, Principal & Dean, College of Agricultural, Dr. N. K. Gontia, Principal & Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Dr. P. H. Tank, Principal & Dean, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh were present on the occasion and graced the function. Dr. M.G. Maradia, Retd. Zoo Superintendent and Miss Aashaben Nathvani, Belgrave Neighbour Hood Center, Leicester, UK were also present on the occasion. Eleven staff  members; Dr. J. S. Patel, Dr. P,B. Patel, Dr. K. B. Vala, Dr. S.H. Talekar, Dr. Bhavika Patel, Dr. Amit Prasad, Dr. Joice P Joseph, Dr. K. H. Parmar, Dr, R.J. Raval,  Dr. A.M. Patel and Dr. J. V. Vadaliya along with graduate and postgraduate students from clinical departments were actively involved in the clinical camp. Pet animals and large animals from Junagadh and surrounding villages were brought for the treatment in the camp. During the camp, thirteen (13) small animals and three hundred seventeen (317) large animals were treated for different medical, surgical and gynaecological ailments. In the camp different clinical cases were treated such as three hundred five (305) Medicine, twelve (12) Surgery, thirteen (13) Gynaecology and ten (10) laboratory samples were collected. A total of one hundred fifty animal owners (150) were direct beneficiaries of the camp. Different species of small and large animals of Junagadh and surrounding villages got specialized treatment from the expert staff members of the College.
