A special Veterinary Clinical Camp was organized in connection with the celebration of “Krushi Vikas Varsh 2014-15”, by College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh in collaboration with Dept. of Animal Husbandry, District Panchayat, Junagadh on 1st December, 2014. Dr. P. H. Tank, Principal & Dean, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh was present on the occasion and graced the function. Three staff members, Dr. S. H.  Talekar,  Dr. Bhavika Patel and Dr. K. H. Parmar along with four postgraduate students from clinical departments were actively involved in the clinical camp. Animals from Dhandhusar and surrounding villages were brought in the camp. During the camp, nine hundred fifty three (953) animals were treated for different medical, surgical and gynaecological ailments. In the camp different clinical cases were treated such as one hundred seventy (170)Medicine, twenty seven (27)Surgery, eighty two (82)Gynaecology, twelve (12) Castration, six hundred sixty two (662)deworming and twenty five (25) laboratory samples were collected. A total of one hundred ninety animal owners (190) were direct beneficiaries of the camp. Different species of animals of Dhandhusar and surrounding villages got specialized treatment from the expert staff members of the College.
