A welcome ceremony of  Shri Babubhai Bokhiria,  Hon'ble Minister  of Agriculture, Cooperation, Water resources(barring Kalpsar), Water    supply, animal husbandry, Fisheries  and Cow care, Govt. of Gujarat    was organized  on his first visit to  Junagadh Agricultural University in beautiful morning of  January 17, 2013 at Conference hall of College of Agriculture.  in the presence of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. N.C. Patel, Members of Board of Management, University Officers, Head of the Departments, Teachers,  Scientists and employees of University . The dignitaries arrived to attend 8^th Convocation ceremony, Dr. KN Nag, Former VC of Rajasthan Agril University, Bikaner; Dr. AR Pathak, VC, NAU; Dr K. Shreedharan, VC, SDAU also joined to rejoice the occasion.
