Dr JB Ogola and Prof. ET Gwata of University of Venda, South Africa visited various departments and Research Stations of JAU during their SIX days visit. JAU had made MoU with University of Venda under which a special delegation visited JAU in September, 2010. JAU may provide training to the scientists of UoV in Biotechnology, Agri Business, Agril. Engineering etc. The scientists showed deep interest in the varietal improvement programmes of JAU. The interactive meet was organized with scientists of JAU on November 23,2012 at Conference Hall where scientific presentation was held on Improvement in Gram and Pigeon pea.  Dr CJ Dangaria, Director of Research,  introduced the guest scientists and their contribution in development of agriculture in South Africa.  Dr NC Patel, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, JAU highlighted progress in scientific relationship with University of Venda and assured about all possible cooperation to provide trainings to the scientists of University of Venda in the fields of Agricultural Engineering, Biotechnology, Agri Business Management etc. Dr IU Dhruj, Asso. Director of Research expressed thanks to all  for   participating in landmark event of JAU and University of Venda, South Africa.
