As part of the celebration of 150^th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand, an Inter Collegiate  Cultural Competition of JAU was inaugurated by Dr. N. C. Patel, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor on October 6, 2012 at Auditorium, JAU, Junagadh.  campus. Seventy nine students of College of Agriculture, College of Agril. Engg. & Tech.  and College of Fisheries Sciences participated in various items viz; Drama, Folk Dance, Group Song, Fancy Dress and Mono Acting. College of Agriculture secured FIRST position in Drama & Group Song .  College of Agril. Engg. & Tech. secured FIRST position in Folk Dance,  Fancy Dress (Tank Urvi) and Mono Acting (Gohil Anita). Dr. P. V. Patel, DSW,JAU, Dr. N. K. Gontia, Principal and Dr. K. B. Zala, Chairman, Students Union of the CAET (host college) and other dignitaries awarded trophies to winner students and motivated  the students.
