Junagadh Agricultural University had celebrated the Fit India Freedom Run campaign from 29th August, 2020 to 2nd October, 2020 with befitting manner. As per guidelines and instructions of Govt. of India, JAU, Junagadh had regularly sent brief reports of activities performed during every week. At the end with the inspiration and motivation of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, our College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, JAU, Junagadh organized 2 km Plog-Run on 2nd October, 2020, wherein 45 faculty/ staff members participated in this programme. This was organized with an aim to pay tribute to our "Father of Nation" Mahatma Gandhiji. Dr. N. K. Gontia, Principal & Dean of this college provided guidance and supported for the success of this event. Dr. Sanjay P. Cholera, Chairman, Students' Union and Dr. Punil Gajjar, Programme Officer(NSS) of this college spared their services with good coordination.

    With efforts of Principal & Dean, Chairman Students' Union & Programme Officer(NSS), online Quiz competition on "General knowledge and Gandhiji" was organized wherein 40 students participated. While, Elocution competition on "Self Dependent India" was also organized, respectively, wherein 17 students of the same college participated enthusiastically. Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. P. M. Chauhan, Registrar and Dr. V. R. Malam, Programme Coordinator(NSS) & Director, Students' Welfare appreciated to Dr. N. K. Gontia,  Principal & Dean, Dr. S. P. Cholera, Chairman, Students' Union and Dr. Punil Gajjar, Programme Officer(NSS) for their efforts in organizing this event.
