Junagadh Agricultural University Celebrated of 69th Republic Day on January, 26th, 2018  in befitting manner under the valuable guidance and inspiration of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor in the premise of Indoor Sports Stadium.. Dr. A.R. Pathak, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor unfurled the National flag at 8.30 A.M. followed by National Anthem. Before the flag hoisting Dr. A.R. Pathak, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor paid floral tribute to the Statue of Mahatma Gandhi.

During this year to encourage regular and contractual drivers for their dedicated services in the University campus felicitation of 72  drivers was arranged. They were felicitated by offering shawl by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Smt. Kailashben Pathak, President, JAU Mahila Mandal, Dr. M.M. Modhvadiya, Hon’ble Member, Board of Management, Dr. P. V. Patel, Director, Student’s Welfare,  Dr. A.M. Parakhia, Director, Extension Education, Principal & Dean Dr. N. K. Gontia, Dr. P.H.Tank. Dr. K.A. Khunt and Shri Dhirubhai Purohit, Press Reporter Sandesh News Paper. Dr. A.R. Pathak, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, in his address gave brief details about the inception of Constitution of India on January, 26, 1950 which gives the right and duties of the Citizen of India. He emphasized to focus on duties of every Indian citizen. He appealed to the Students and faculties to sincerely perform their duties to make the nation strong.

     This programme was attended by about 900  University Officers, Students, Faculties and their family, Security personnel, farm labors and invitees.             

     A programme of patriotic song was presented by renowned Singer Shri Rajubhai Bhatt  and his team which was appreciated by the gathering.
