Junagadh Agricultural University is arranging Thalassemia screening test of all newly admitted students of Colleges and Polytechnics since last 9 years regularly.

    During this year also Thalassemia  screening  test of  newly admitted students of all faculties  was arranged by JAU  in association with Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad during  08-09 November, 2017. During this camp the blood samples of 699  newly admitted students were collected by the technicians of Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad in all the Colleges and Polytechnics of  Junagadh, Amreli, Veraval, Porbandar (Khapat), Dhari and  Targhadiya.
