Mahila Krushi Divas was celebrated by College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry at Purushotam Lalji Gaushala Trust, Vadla on 06/08/17 under the aegis of Gender Champion Club in association with Mahila Mandal, JAU, Junagadh and Junior Chamber International, Junagadh Mahila, Junagadh as part of Women Empowerment programmes.

     One hundred and seventy participants were registered for the function. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Junagadh Agricultural University, Dr. A. R. Pathak presided over the function. Eminent speakers from different walks of life shared ideas on Women Empowerment. Dr. A. M. Parakhia, Director of Extension Education, JAU, Junagadh, Dr. P. H. Tank, Principal & Dean, Veterinary College, JAU, Junagadh, Jayshreeben Rangolia, President, JCI Mahila, Junagadh, Rajashreeben Gontia, Secretary, Mahila Mandal, JAU, Junagadh, Dr. Chetanaben Paneri, Adhyaksh & Professor, Bahauddin Arts College, P. B. Dadhaniya, Retd. Agricultural Officer, Vinubhai Mavjibhai Khandaria, President, Vallabh Goshala and Virbac Representative motivated Lady farmers with inspiring speeches. Programme started with Go Puja and ended up with a sumptuous meal sponsored by Vadla Gaushala and visit to Gathila Temple.
