UG thesis research project work under the guidance of Dr. V. K. Chandegara, Assistant Professor, Polytechnic in Agro-Processing Ranks Third in National Oral Presentation Competition held at OUAT, Bhubaneswar
As a part of Golden Jubilee celebrations of Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE) a National symposium on “Agricultural Engineering in Nation Building: Contributions and Challenges” was organized by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar during 19-21 January, 2016. Post Graduate students and Research Scholars of SAU’s/ICAR Deemed universities from all over the country had participated in this symposium.
A total of 32 students with their research work in the field of Processing, Dairy & Food Engineering were enrolled for the symposium. A spellbinding competition took place among them from which Mr. Chandegara Mayurkumar Parshottam, a graduate student of College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh was awarded the third position. He had carried out UG thesis research project under the guidance of Dr. V. K. Chandegara, Assistant Professor, Polytechnic in Agro-Processing, JAU,Junagadh. He orally presented his B. Tech. thesis research work entitled as “Development of Aloe vera based Mosquito Repellent Incense”, which was well appreciated. The research work on mosquito repellant incense was herbal based not harmful to human being, but also overcomes the limitations of currently available mosquito repellent incense in the market.
