The statisticians of this department provide advisory services to the PG students, teachers and scientists on various statistical aspects like experimental design, scrutiny of data, data analysis, interpretation of data analysis etc.

2. Member of Advisory Committees of PG Students
At least one statistician should be a member of advisory committee of PG student. The PG teachers of this department are providing their services as a member of advisory committee of each PG student.
3. Member of AGRESCO subcommittees and ZEARC
This department also contributed in all meetings of AGRESCO subcommittees and ZEARC and provide expert service for various aspects of agricultural statistics.
